A Quick Boji Visit

We had a short stay in Okoboji this weekend as we went to celebrate Brian and Afton Hunziker's wedding. No lake time, but we'll have plenty in the upcoming months.

Even though we were only in Okoboji for 24 hours, it seemed to wear out half of our group.

Paxton the dog

In May we dog-sat for Paxton the minature dachshund. He and Cole became fast friends and could be seen cuddling together from time to time.

Introducing...Solid Foods!!

While the first couple days of "real food" were rough, Cole is now asking, nay begging for seconds. He'll be ready for Iowa corn in no time.

On a side note, Cole has decided that 'sweet potato eyebrows' are the next new fad, and Jazzmine's love for Cole has doubled as she realizes how tasty some of these flying foods are. Who needs a Swiffer?

We still don't know what this look means, though we see it often. Nevertheless, it makes us smile and we can't wait 'til he starts talking to give us a more in depth understanding of this look.

The Easter Bunny had no trouble finding the Phelps' house this year with all the noise and laughter. We had a great time with the Cedar Rapids cousins and Cole finally met the great-grandparents! Of course, toothbrushes were provided after the feast o' candy, courtesy of bunny's pal the tooth-fairy.

Spring is just around the corner!

We took advantage of this warm day to take a stroll. After being cooped up all winter, everyone enjoyed the fresh air; though Jazz doesn't seem quite ready to share her walks with Cole.
